Baked Camembert is a really lovely Christmassy kind of dish that is delicious with loads of crusty bread! Tis the season to be naughty and I can’t think of a better way! Here’s how to make it…
Here are the ingredients:
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees / gas mark 4.
Chop the apple, discarding the core. Dice the apple as small as possible then combine it with the almonds, cranberries, brown sugar and cinnamon into a small bowl.
Add the melted butter and stir so all ingredients are moist.
Cut the Camembert in half horizontally. Place one half – rind side down – onto a baking tray. Spoon half the apple mixture onto this half of the cheese ensuring it is evenly spread.
Top with the remaining half of Camembert – rind side up. Put the remaining apple mixture on top.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is soft and just starts to melt. Serve with crusty bread!
