About Nadine Hill
I am the founder and editor of JuggleMum and started blogging in 2009 whilst at home with an active toddler and another child at ‘big school’. This blog was a creative outlet; a way to have a corner of the internet to call my own and also a place to record the precious memories of my children’s childhood.
As the readership grew and I became hooked on blogging, Tweeting, web design and photography, I combined my marketing background from my former corporate life with my new skills to work with brands. Then I discovered video! I created a YouTube channel in 2009 but started vlogging properly in 2010. In 2014 I achieved an ambition by becoming an award winning blogger when I won the ‘Brilliance in Blogging Award’ for Video at the BritMums conference that year.
I have worked from home for more than sixteen years, since my first child was a toddler, when I created a boutique virtual assistance business so I could combine motherhood with earning a living. I have also written two non-fiction business books. The first, The Virtual Assistant Handbook became an Amazon best-seller and prompted the second book – a time management guide to help budding authors find the time to write!
The idea for JuggleMum came from juggling family life with very young children and a home based business. The strap line used was ‘Making it work, working from home’. However over the years as the children have grown, my attention has turned to self care and wellness. After all, you can’t pour from an empty cup! These days JuggleMum is a wellbeing blog based in Yorkshire, sharing information about wellness including events, reviews and recipes.
I speak at events and conferences and within businesses on the subjects of blogging, social media, working from home and time management for business owners. To make an enquiry or book me as a speaker, please email and to see me in action, visit my YouTube channel.
