These pancakes are super easy to make (they take less than 10 minutes) and are Slimming World friendly – how cool is that! It is a great diet style pancake recipe.
The only ingredients are banana and egg which means that they could be classed as ‘Syn free’ pancakes, however because we are doing a ‘tweak’ by cooking the banana, it would have a Syn value. So to be completely accurate let’s call these ‘Flourless Pancakes’.
According to the latest Slimming World handbook that you use to record your weight, on Page 71 cooked banana is listed as 4 Syn per 100g of banana. I’ve just weighed my average sized banana and it is 170g. Slimming World say that pureed and cooked fruit loses its filling power and becomes easy to over consume hence the Syns for a tweak.

For this recipe we are going to buy fruit and eggs (because it is a Slimming World friendly recipe) so I picked up some ingredients.
Here’s how you make it:

I had this for breakfast with some Greek style low fat natural yogurt (1 Syn for 100g) and some fresh berries (Free food). Do you know any other diet friendly toppings that I could try? My husband would probably have these pancakes with jam. Leave me a comment and let me know how you have yours?
