Easy gift ideas for Valentine’s Day

This is a post for anyone who is ‘shopping challenged’. If you can’t think of what to get the lady in your life this Valentine’s Day, here’s a few cool ideas that are easily sorted because everything is available to buy online!

The three beauty products pictured above are from KORRES.  At the far right is a tube of Japanese Rose Body Butter RRP £12, available from www.JohnLewis.com.  It goes on really easily and has a nice light scent.  It’s a handy size to pop in a gym bag and use on the go!  Next to that in the centre is a KORRES Wild Rose Advanced Brightening & Nourishing Face Oil.  With a pretty heart on the front, it looks lovely on a dressing table and perfect for Valentine’s Day, it also contains real rose petals!  The RRP is £30 and it’s from www.MarksandSpencer.com.  Next along to the left is the Eau De Toilette.  This one is from KORRES and is a lovely blend of Saffron, Amber & Cardamom.  The bottle is quite utilitarian in appearance – so would suit someone who likes the minimalist look.  It is a 50ml size with an RRP of £30 and it’s available from www.LookFantastic.com.

For a more unusual idea how about a teaspoon for your beloved? You can present it to them along with a cuppa in bed on Valentine’s morning! Here’s a close up of this spoon – it says “Simon – I am SWEET on you x” and it can be personalised with any message of up to 35 characters! This silver plated vintage teaspoon is £18.99 from I Just Love It.  Order early to allow time for the spoon to be engraved and posted.

spoon and pic frames

Along with the vintage spoon in the picture above are photo frames from PICT!  This new high quality online picture framing service will take uploads from your phone or computer and transform it into a beautifully framed gift!  Your favourite memory can arrive within 24 hours through the letterbox making it a great gift if you are short on time – you have until 1pm on 13th February to get it for Valentine’s Day. Plus it comes beautifully wrapped. You can see the tissue and green bow wrapping on the left and one of their many frames pictured on the right. This LOVE frame is called Featherstone and costs just £6! There are variety of frames with differing prices to choose from.

Finally below is the PICT gift wrapped frame again next to a beautiful heart shaped tin from The Vintage Cosmetic Company. The Girl’s Night Tin Heart is £27.50 and comes with the tools she needs for a pampering night in! The tin contains a Dolly Bow Make-Up Headband, Floral Slanted Tweezers, 4 Way Nail Buffer, Pink Toe Separators, Floral Nail Scissors and Fantail Brush. Simply pick up a face-mask and some coloured nail polish and she’s ready to pamper! I love the pretty tin which can be used as a keepsake afterwards.

There’s still time to arrange a Valentine’s gift your partner will love, that is a bit different to going down the floral route.

  • Lovely ideas and I’d forgotten about Korres….I had an amazing smelling almond shower gel from them years ago that I would love to have again, I might have to see if they still do it! Love the idea of everything you need for a pampering night in perfectly contained in a heart shaped tin too!
