If you have frizzy hair like me, you’ll want to know how to do a frizz eliminator blow dry! I’ve battled the frizz all my life. Whilst I’m grateful that I have thick hair that grows fast, it is quite bushy and can be hard to get under control! Here’s a ‘before’ and ‘after’ my blow dry photo…
I love having a blow dry at the local salon; it is a guaranteed ‘pick me up’ and always makes me feel better and look more polished, but it’s not always feasible to get there and so I have studied how they do my hair so I could replicate the techniques at home.
I have recorded a vlog to show you how to get the perfect smooth blow dry including the products I’ve been using lately. I hope you enjoy it!
The products I used are listed here.
- Creightons Keratin Pro Smooth & Strengthen Shampoo
- Creightons Keratin Pro Smooth & Strengthen Conditioner
- Creightons Keratin Pro 2 Minute Super Smooth Treatment
- Lee Stafford Frizz Off Keratin Blow Dry Smoothing Spray
- Braun Satin Hair 7 Senso Hair Dryer
- GHD Hair Straighteners- Peacock Collection
I find that my ceramic GHD straightners are my ‘go to’ product when I don’t have much time. If I need a frizz free look but have no time to section off the hair and blow dry in sections, then I usually wash and let dry naturally the night before then run the straightners over my hair in the morning – in sections. It doesn’t provide as sleek a result as doing it the long way but it is passable! If you have any other techniques that you use to get the perfect sleek look then please share in the comments!

LOVE the Poundland tip. I am so over spending on high priced hair products! Nice video x
You can’t beat a pound shop for bargains!!
That’s really interesting. My hair really doesn’t like blowdrying. In truth I tend to leave it wet and let it dry naturally, that tends to calm it down too.
I wish I could – would save me so much time!!
Your hair looks fabulous and soooooo shiny………I would love to give this a try
Love the pound shop bargains. Such a good tip. I’pull out my starightners when the grey hair frizz gets to wild. Since growing my hair I’ve found it’s getting a slight wave to it which I never had when I was younger
