Being on a slimming plan means that at times there are foods that I miss. Pastry is one of them! But with this recipe for Slimming World berry puff tarts, you don’t need to stop having tasty pastry puddings!

This Slimming World friendly recipe is so easy to make. I used a ready made pastry sheet from Jus Rol – the pastry people! They have different varieties; puff, shortcrust and filo amongst others and I’ve used the filo sheets a few times in my low fat cooking but I was delighted to give the puff pastry a whirl – in a slimming way. Here is my vlog showing how to make it step by step…

To make the dessert you will need the following ingredients:

  • One sheet of ready rolled puff pastry
  • 110g natural fat free fromage frais
  • 50g Quark
  • Few drops of rose water
  • 2 Tbsp sweetener
  • Fresh berries to decorate
  • Icing sugar to serve

      I like roasted figs with a little melted chocolate, guess thats not really healthy? Could try honey instead of chocolate!
