Slimming World Chocolate Vanilla Cheesecake: Here is an indulgent recipe for a diet style ‘cheer you up cheesecake’ – something every slimmer should know how to do!
This recipe is super easy to make, tastes much more calorific than it actually is and really helps to satisfy that sweet tooth when you just feel like eating sweets all day!
This recipe is 6 Syns per serving and here’s what you need:
- 8 bourbon cream biscuits, finely crushed
- 40g Flora Light, melted
- 11.5g sachet Hartley’s Sugar Free Lemon & Lime Jelly crystals
- 12g sachet powdered gelatine
- 4 x 175g pots Mullerlight Vanilla yogurt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 150g Quark
- 2 tbsp sweetener
- 40g dark chocolate, broken into pieces
- 2 level tsp cocoa powder, to decorate
I didn’t use the dark chocolate or cocoa powder on my cheesecakes in the photo, and instead of making one large cheesecake of 8 servings (6 Syn per slice) I used 4 individual bowls for the pudding and therefore my pots are 12 Syn per serving as I doubled up!
Here is how the official Slimming World recipe says you should make it:
- Put the biscuits in a bowl, pour over the melted spread and mix well. Spoon into a 20cm diameter springform cake tin and press down with the back of a spoon. Cover with cling film and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes
- Meanwhile, put the jelly crystals into a measuring jug, add 250ml boiling water and stir until dissolved. Leave to cool completely
- Put the cooled jelly in a food processor with the yogurt, vanilla extract, quark and sweetener. Whizz until smooth then pour over the biscuit base. Cover and chill overnight or until set
*This is where I left it! But read on to see what the other instructions are…*
- When ready to serve, melt the chocolate using a bain marie or melt in the microwave on a low heat for 30 seconds
- Put the cheesecake onto a serving plate then drizzle with the melted chocolate and dust with cocoa powder. Cut into 8 wedges and serve
It reminds me of the texture of a ‘baked’ cheesecake, so if you like something a bit naughty but nice, give it a go! The only downside to this dessert is that you have to have patience to wait overnight before you can eat it! Let me know what you think in the comments…
What I wouldn’t give for one of those right now, and with bourbon biscuits too! Haven’t had one for years! 😀
It sounds delicious and I could do with finding more sweet things that aren’t so bad for me
Hmmmm this sounds delicious, will have to try it x
I love cheesecake, I don’t think I could wait overnight to eat one though.
Yeah, it does require restraint!!

Things that are less calories than they appear are always go to’s for me!!!
