Write your best-seller in 2016. Here are two quotes that illustrate perfectly what needs to happen to get things done – action.
“If you can dream it, you can do it”
“The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing”
Both are quotes from Walt Disney.
After I wrote my first book which became an Amazon best-seller, The Virtual Assistant Handbook I was often approached by people who confessed that they’d love to write a book but don’t seem to be able to find the time to do it! It happened with such regularity (and time management being a favourite subject of mine) that I decided to create my second book: “I Don’t Have Time To Write!” to address this problem.
I still get lovely tweets or emails from readers about my book content, even years after it was first written. I have been praised for my ‘cheerful writing style’ which was exactly my intention- clearly written, easy to understand and presented in a friendly way. My books are written to inspire – I want the reader to believe that they can do it- and here’s how you set about it!
Writing is a passion of mine and a passion of so many other people too. If 2016 is going to be the year that you write your best-seller, then the only thing that will get you there is action. Go and do. But if you need a little help on how to plan your time, then I hope that you’ll give my book a look!
Here are some more resources for writers
Well I don’t have any aspirations to write a book, but I so need to organise myself and find time to do just about ANYTHING! So this book would probably would probably help me in that respect! x
Thanks for your comment Carolynne. I hope you find that time this year! x
I always make time to write, but have no aspirations to write a book.
That’s great that you have your writing time management down Jen- this book helps others get to your status quo!
I’m currently studying for a degree in Creative Writing and Journalism with the view to writing a few books in the future! Thanks for the resources.
You’re welcome – how interesting. Good luck with your course!
When my son started school in September I always said that would be the time when I would finally write my book. I’ve got the plots and characters all worked out but it’s still all in my head!
Ooh, go for it!
