Written by

Black Friday tomorrow kicks off the Christmas shopping season and when you have whole families to buy for, thinking up Christmas gift ideas can be time consuming. So I have put together a couple of ideas for him, for her and for the kids to help your Christmas planning!

Christmas gifts hero shot

The people I find hardest to buy for, let’s start with the dads! I find them hard because they’ll tell you that they ‘have everything’, plus if I’m choosing clothing for them inevitably I’ll get the wrong size or colour. I’ve bought them toiletries and aftershave in the past so I want to come up with something new this year.

Pictured right is the world’s first digital golf glove! The SensoGlove helps golf fans improve their game by reading the golfer’s grip pressure through sensors and feeding that information back to ensure a consistently accurate, smooth and powerful golf swing. You can choose a right or left glove depending on which the player’s dominant hand is. It is an American website but the UK price of this glove is £50.64 and you can buy here. They ship worldwide and the postage cost to the UK is reasonable.
Pictured left is a fun stocking filler for dads- a pair of Rudolf socks! Having Christmas jumpers and Christmas socks is back in fashion again so keep his feet warm and treat dad. Available from the Sock Shop priced £3.50.

For children

These technology themed products make brilliant gift ideas for your older children. The Hue Animation Studio priced at £49.96 is an award winning kit to help children make animated videos. Both educational and fun, the box comes with a USB camera, the software and a HUE book of animation and makes a creative gift for boys and girls.
Pictured left is a Flexi Tripod from UK entrepreneur Veena V. This tripod comes in two colour ways; pink and black (pictured) or all black and costs £20 with free delivery from Amazon. Veena V is an award winning radio presenter and has plenty of advice and inspiration on her website for people who want a career in the media – check it out!

For mum

This category was easy to come up with ideas for – I just picked what I like! Myself and many of my school run mum friends love to light a scented candle of an evening, when it is cold and dark outside and nice and cosy in! These candles from home fragrance experts Love Aroma make perfect gifts for mums and there are plenty of price points with a candle gift to suit every budget! Pictured top left is the Yankee Candle in the fragrance Home Sweet Home for £18.99. This candle smells of cinnamon and baking spices making it gorgeous for this time of year.
Next to that is the Kringle Candle in Warm Cotton £22.99 Kringle is an up and coming brand from America and Love Aroma have a great range of their products.
At the front in a Yankee Candle gift box is the Christmas 5 Votive Gift Set just £8.99 and a fab way to introduce someone to Yankee Candles and their fragrances this Christmas.
On the table right at the front are Yankee Candle Melts. Sometimes called Wax Melts or Wax Tarts, these little cups of scented wax come in a wide range of scents from Yankee Candle – some especially for Christmas and some from the ‘all year’ range, but all guaranteed to give off a beautiful lasting fragrance to your home. Prices start from £0.89.
Also pictured is the MUM’s Birthday Book from Mum’s Office £15.95. Perfect for any mum who wants to be organised, the birthday book is split into monthly sections and you can keep track of what you bought, amount spent and if you sent a thank you letter. With a lot of people to keep track of, this book could be a lifeline for busy mums!

So there’s a few ideas to get you started – what do you like the look of out of these gifts?
