I don’t write poetry much but I had a flash of inspiration when I wrote this. I think it sums up how I am, how I feel and my approach to people both through the screen and in real life. Just be who you are, because that is who I want to know. I don’t care for airs and graces. I don’t care how much money you earn, where you live, who you love, what Higher Power you pray to, what your education is. I may not always agree with you but I will respect your opinion, and ask that you respect mine. If I care about you, then I care about the things you like because you like them, not because I know anything about them.
I took this selfie recently – as a naked blogger! I wasn’t actually naked, I’d just pulled down the straps of my vest and bra for the pic but I was at an event and trying to win a hamper! I didn’t win by the way… I wonder why?! But I kinda liked the picture and idea of being a naked blogger. Naked as in real. Not hiding, no falseness, just who I am. This photo inspired this post and my poem! I hope you enjoyed it!
