Review: Cyberjammies

I’ve had many conversations with my mum friends where we agree that it is like heaven on earth at the end of a long day to take off the bra, slip on some soft, clean pyjamas and settle in to a cosy night at home. But I can’t lie to you, in my house it has been known (if I am not going to be seeing anyone for the rest of the day) for this little routine to take place immediately after the afternoon school run!

For a girl who studied then worked in fashion for many years, who knew my Yamamoto from my Miyake and once wore black velvet hot pants to see The Dreamboys perform at some club in Wardour Street, I never thought I’d say that my pyjamas are my favourite outfit. But …. “My pyjamas are my favourite outfit!”

It’s like high fashion for home dwellers. I can’t handle high heels all night anymore, but I can sure rock a boho print wide leg or something satin with a lace trim! Actually that lace trim number is more for special occasions if you catch my drift, but for everyday glamour, I do have quite a stunning selection of pretty pastel prints and plain jersey basics.

I was treated to a new wardrobe addition this week when I experienced a new revelation – pyjamas by post! Online retailer Cyberjammies sent me a pair of lovely new pjs to try along with a summertime must have – a sleep mask to help block out the early morning light. Now I never have to leave the house!! (If it weren’t for that school run!)

Cyberjammies are a UK based company that has been retailing for more than 10 years. They originally started out online only (hence: Cyberjammies) but now they are also stocked in over 250 stores in the UK, Europe and even further afield in America and Australia. They created the company to help make the clothes you wear at night for 6+ hours to look as great and feel as comfortable as the rest of your bedtime routine, we take care to have a soft mattress and bedding, so Cyberjammies wanted to carry that through to the pyjamas!

I am pictured in the Katrina Bohemian Pyjama pant and the Katrina Cap Sleeve top with a Polly Woven Eyemask to match.

This little combo has the pop of colour to make me look brighter than I feel at night and a lovely print that makes the look more ‘me’. You can personalise the outfit further by mixing and matching your separates. There are nightdresses and robes too in the range, so even within this collection you can create many different looks.
