With Bonfire Night coming up fast, my thoughts are turning to cold weather clothing. I, for one, need to update my wardrobe a bit, to make sure I am ready for this great family night out. So, I have been visiting sites like fashionworld.co.uk and taking a look at their women’s clothing collections to get a feel for what is available.

I am pleased to report that I actually quite like most of the biggest A/W 2018 winter fashion trends. As you will see, there are some fantastic looking clothes available. Items that will make it easy for you to create a unique and stylish look as well as stay lovely and warm, at the same time.

Coats and jackets
Gone are the parkas that have been so fashionable for the past few years. There are still a few available. But, for the most part you are going to find more formal looking coats and jackets on offer.
For Bonfire Night a long one is an especially good option. Fortunately, the full-length wool coat is set to be a big trend for 2018. You will also notice more trench coats and tweed jackets and mid-length coats being made available, in most stores.

Boots and booties
As usual boots are set to be the footwear of choice for most women. They are the perfect option for Halloween or Bonfire Night. Comfortable enough for walking in and completely closed in, which means the cold cannot get in.
If you fancy something a little different try on some booties. They are a cross between a shoe and a boot.

A hat
It makes sense to wear a hat for Bonfire Night. There is nothing worse than having cold ears. As usual there are plenty of knit hats out there. With the beanie making a bit of a comeback. The fact you can easily fold it up and put it in your pocket makes this style of hat a particularly practical choice. You will be pleasantly surprised by how many stylish or fun beanies there are available, this year. Another alternative is to make one yourself. This is surprisingly easy to do, especially if you follow the instructions that you can find here.

An extra layer
At this time of the year, if you are planning to be outside for any length of time it is sensible to wear several layers of clothing. So, make sure that you have a pair of leggings in your wardrobe. They are perfect for slipping on under your trousers. If you feel the cold a lot consider buying yourself a set of thermal underwear. It is far more stylish than it used to be. So much so, in fact, that you would never guess that it was actually thermal underwear.

Yorkshire bonfire events
So, now you have the clothes sorted out, all you need to do is to decide which event to go to. If you live in Yorkshire or will be staying there at the right time you will find this article useful. In it I tell you all about the best annual Bonfire Night events in Yorkshire.
